Pricing

LBE recommends a retail 20% below MSRP, with Green Acres buying at 30% off the LBE wholesale price, a 56%–61% margin at that retail.

Order value

$121,476 for the ceramics and $20,814 for the teak stands, at the Green Acres price: $142,290 in total.

Shipping allowance

$3,000 per container toward bringing the ceramics over: $6,000 on two containers.

Duties

Separate from the allowance and covered by LBE on all ceramics.

Freight

LBE books the containers and acts as importer of record. Containers arrive at the Port of Oakland, and LBE arranges and covers transport from the port to the Green Acres warehouse. We will need the delivery address for the receiving warehouse to complete the shipping documents.

Receiving

Container 1 carries the 12 pallets at the door for forklift unloading, stacked two high, with the 17″ and 14″ cylinders floor-loaded behind them. Container 2 is floor-loaded throughout and unloads by hand.

Payment terms

50% on purchase order, 50% on delivery.

Ceramics

All cylinders, Rancho and Round Two ship direct from China by container.

Teak stands

568 stands. They ship from the LBE warehouse in Compton, California, by 15 January, with LBE covering the freight.

Timing

The whole program is targeted to arrive before 31 January 2027, with purchase orders signed the week of 28 September.

Schedule: arriving before 31 January

Production runs 60–75 days, sailing from China to Oakland 20–30 days, and about 5 days from port to the Green Acres warehouse. Dates below assume approval and purchase orders the week of 28 September.

Each row shows the fastest and slowest case. Signed that week, the slowest case delivers the ceramics on 20 January, 11 days inside the deadline. Every day the approval slips moves each date by a day. Production finishes well before Chinese New Year (6 February 2027), when factories and ports close.

Pricing by product

Unchanged from revision 2. Recommended retail is 20% below current MSRP; the Green Acres cost is 30% below current wholesale.

One price per product family; teak stands price by size. Margin is the Green Acres cost measured against the recommended retail.

Loading the containers

Floor-loaded cartons are stacked close to the ceiling, largest sizes first from the nose. Plain and with-saucer cylinders of the same size share rows. Pallets are stacked two high with each pair under 2,535 mm (99.8″) to clear the door; one carton size per pallet, colors mixed. Round Two and Rancho 8″ use 42 × 42″ pallets and Rancho 6″ uses 48 × 40″. Where a product fills only one side of a pallet row, a second product sits beside it.

What a single row looks like from the doors. Floor-loaded cartons fill the width and height; pallets sit two across and two high.

Product mix: revision 2 and revision 3

Only the lines above are reduced. Within each line, every color is reduced by the same proportion and rounded to whole master cartons. Round Two in Speckle White is no longer available, so its quantity moves to the other Round Two colors of the same size. Share of container space is how much of the loaded floor in the two containers each product takes, so larger planters take a larger share than their count suggests.

Container space is measured along the floor of both containers (23.7 m loaded of 24.1 m). Where plain and with-saucer cylinders share a row, or two products share a pallet row, the space is split between them.

Teak stands

The 14″ stands are reduced in step with the 14″ cylinders; the 10″ and 12″ stands are unchanged.

Why this works

• Two containers instead of three. One fewer booking, customs entry and delivery to receive.
• The core of the program is held. The 10″ cylinders, 12″ cylinders, Rancho 6″ and Rancho 8″ are unchanged.
• Balanced reductions. The three Round Two sizes come down together, and the 14″ cylinders keep more of their quantity than the 17″.
• Fast receiving where it counts. The small multi-pack cartons arrive palletized at the door of container 1 for forklift unloading.
